The primary goal of the project is to investigate if learning apps benefit learning beyond traditional learning approaches. It does not matter whether you think apps are beneficial or maybe even detrimental to learning, we need your help to reach our goal. You can even support us without using the app.
The research project builds on three pillars to optimize foreign vocabulary learning:
- teachers’ knowledge about and experience with teaching the acquisition of a second language
- software developers’ knowledge and skills in developing reliable software solutions
- cognitive scientists’ knowledge about basic principles of learning and memory
